Defenceman Jake Gardiner revealed this week why he chose the Hurricanes and not the Canadiens.
In a speech given to the Canadian Club, owner Geoff Molson discussed the importance of having Francophones on the Canadiens. Serge Savard and French media also weighed in.

Habs Unfiltered is hosted by Blain Potvin and Trege Wilson, two sarcastic, goofy, sports-savvy characters. Fellow co-host Matt Smith is currently deployed. All three are active service members of the Canadian Armed Forces and staff writers for All Habs Hockey Magazine.

Our motto is, “If you’re talking about it, so are we.”

Matt is deployed overseas with the RCAF, he will make occasional appearances on the show to share his hockey thoughts and flights of fancy.
